About Privacy: Knit Alteration & Design will never willfully sell, trade, rent, or otherwise provide information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission. Our business is the alteration, design and repair of knit clothing. Any information you provide is used for our business only.

How to Order: Use our handy form and mailing label to send your garments. Just print out the form and fill in the information. It includes easy shipping information at the bottom.

You may find the About Knit Alterations and Sweater Repair pages helpful on how to prepare your items for sending. We do suggest to have soiled items cleaned before sending.

How Orders are Processed and Shipped: You are contacted shortly after your garment is received with the exact cost and ready date. We do require payment before work is started on an item. See payment options below. An email is sent to acknowledge receipt of payment and an invoice marked paid is included with the finished garment.

We use USPS Priority Mail for returning items unless otherwise requested. Priority Mail takes 2-3 business days.

We have excellent FedEx and UPS service as well and are happy to receive or send using these services if they are convenient for you.

We will ship anywhere that USPS, FedEx or UPS is available.

All items are sent with Delivery Confirmation tags which allow us to track your package via the Internet.

Should you decide not to have a garment altered or repaired, it will be returned promptly for the cost of shipping only.



Payment Options:

You may pay by a check made out in US Dollars to Knit Alteration & Design and sent to: 230 SE State Route 3; Shelton WA 98584.

You may also pay by credit card using the PayPal service provided here at the website. PayPal is the same easy and secure credit card processing service as seen on eBay. We have found them to be an excellent service. If you would like us to process your credit card, fill the required information in the space provided on the Handy Form and Mailing Label.

Wholesale accounts can be set up to pay on a monthly statement of invoices, if frequency of service warrants it.



Customer guarantee: We make every effort to please our customers! Our track record is so good...it's hard to believe! In over 20 years and hundreds of alterations and repairs, we have had less than a handful of customer complaints. In the end we were able to satisfy each of these customers, too!

We do excellent work. We want our customers to return to us should the need arise and to have friends and family referred to us. We honestly think you will be very happy with the work we do and with our service!
